What Is Long-Term Care?
Long-term care is for people who need ongoing help with daily activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, and taking medication. Some residents have finished rehabilitation and still need support. Others have a lasting condition or disability.
At St. Anthony’s, trained nurses and caregivers provide personal care and daily support in a safe, comfortable setting.
Compassionate Individualized Care That puts you first
Every resident’s needs are different, so we plan long-term care around the person, not a routine.

Frequently asked question
1. What do I need to prepare for my stay?
We encourage residents to bring toiletries and at least one week’s worth of clothes for a transitional stay. For a longer stay, we recommend two to three weeks of clothes. It is important that you feel confident in your own clothes. You can also bring favorite books and puzzles. Please leave valuable jewelry and checks or credit cards at home.
2. Can my family stay with me?
Family is a important thing to consider in recovery process. It is important to have down time and sleep well. Families are more encouraged to stay as long as possible during the day. However, overnight stays must be done after visiting hours. The administrator will approve an overnight stay if the resident’s condition warrants it.
3. What is the best way to get my medication after I have left?
Your attending physician will write prescriptions. This prescription will be taken to the local pharmacy.
